Creating An Account
Many believe that the companies like KDP Amazon, IngramSpark, Lulu Press, Draft2Digital and others are publishers. They are actually printer/distributors working with self-publishers, like you and me, to print and distribute books around the world
Since you are self publishing your book, the entire process will take place on your account at the printer/distributor. You will remain the publisher throughout the process even though you may choose to name me or someone else with whom you are working, as the publisher.
Step One in publishing your book with my publishing plan is for you to open a printing and distribution account to handle and sell your book. I can either assist you to set this up or handle the entire task for you. If I do it, I will require your assistance because they will contact you directly to check certain aspects of the account.
Once you have this account I will use it to upload your book which I will format. This will include the entire interior and the cover for your book. Once your book is uploaded and published on your account you will control all aspects of your arrangement and collect all royalties each month.
To publish successfully it’s critical to maintain all rights to your book and control the printing and distribution. My publishing plan based on using your own printing and distribution account protects your interest during the publishing process and in the future.
During the publishing process I work through your account to publish and distribute your book worldwide. After publishing I can turn this over to you or manage all aspects with monthly reports and payment of royalties. You can then change the password to your account to eliminate my access completely.
